Privacy Policy
Clover LDT, LLC respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what
information we collect when you use the blah.™ application, how we use it,
how we protect it, and what rights you have with respect to your personal
data. Please read it carefully. By using blah.™, you agree to the practices
described in this Policy.
blah.™ does all of its dictation work on your computer. Your voice audio,
transcripts, and output never leave your device. The Software contains no
analytics, no telemetry, and no tracking. The only personal data we handle
is the minimum needed to sell you a license and support you.
1. Who We Are
blah.™ is developed and distributed by Clover LDT, LLC, a limited liability
company organized under the laws of the State of Idaho, United States of
America. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Clover LDT, LLC
acts as the data controller with respect to personal data collected in
connection with the Software.

2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies only to:
The blah.™ desktop application (the version accompanying this Policy and
later versions that reference it);
The blah.audio website and its associated pages and services used for
blah.™ support, purchase, or license activation; and
Any communications between you and Clover LDT, LLC related to the Software
or your blah.™ license.
This Policy is specific to blah.™. Other products, services, or websites
that Clover LDT, LLC may offer now or in the future are governed by their
own terms and privacy policies, not by this one.
This Policy also does not apply to third-party websites, services, or
applications that may be linked from our website. We encourage you to
review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you purchase a license or contact us for support, we collect:
Email address (for license delivery, license management, and support
communications); and
Communications and correspondence you send to us (e.g., support requests).
Purchases are processed by our merchant of record (Paddle), which handles
payment and billing information under its own terms and privacy policy. We
do not receive or store your full payment card details.
3.2 Information Collected at License Activation
When you activate the Software, the activation service receives:
Your license key;
A one-way cryptographic hash of a hardware identifier of your device — the
raw hardware identifier itself never leaves your device, and the hash cannot
be reversed to identify your hardware; and
An optional device nickname you supply (e.g., "my laptop"), used to
identify the activation for license management.
Activation is a one-time network call (repeated only if you move the license
to another device). After activation, the Software verifies your license
entirely offline; it does not contact our servers during normal use.
3.3 What We Do NOT Collect
Because blah.™ processes all audio and transcription locally on your device,
we do NOT:
Collect, transmit, or store any audio recordings you make;
Collect, transmit, or store any transcribed text, translations, or other
output you generate with the Software;
Collect usage analytics, telemetry, feature-usage statistics, crash reports,
or diagnostic logs — the Software contains no analytics or tracking of any
kind;
Access your microphone data beyond the moment of local processing; or
Collect payment card numbers or financial account details (see Section 3.1).
4. How We Use Your Information
Clover LDT, LLC uses the information collected for the following purposes:
License management — to issue, activate, verify, and manage your software
license, including device moves;
Support — to respond to your inquiries and provide technical support;
Product notices — to communicate important information about your license,
security notices, and renewal options for updates released after your
upgrade window (see the End User License Agreement);
Legal compliance — to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal
processes; and
Security — to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent license activity
or abuse of the activation service.
We will not use your personal data for any purpose incompatible with those
listed above without first obtaining your consent or as otherwise required
by law.
5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or
Switzerland, Clover LDT, LLC processes personal data on the following legal
bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable
national law:
Contract performance — processing your email address and activation data is
necessary to fulfill the license agreement and provide support;
Legitimate interests — processing necessary to secure the activation service
and prevent license fraud, provided such interests are not overridden by
your privacy rights;
Consent — where required by law (e.g., for optional marketing
communications), we will obtain your explicit consent before processing; and
Legal obligation — processing necessary to comply with applicable laws and
regulations.
You have the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based
on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before
withdrawal.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The blah.™ desktop application does not use cookies or any similar tracking
technologies.
Our website may use a minimal set of cookies:
Strictly necessary cookies — required for the website to function (e.g.,
session management for the checkout flow); and
Preference cookies — to remember your language or display preferences.
You may manage, disable, or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website.
7. How We Share Your Information
Clover LDT, LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may
share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers — we share data with a small number of vendors strictly as
needed to operate: our merchant of record (Paddle, for purchases and
billing), our transactional email provider (for license delivery and
support), and our infrastructure provider (which hosts the license
activation service), each subject to appropriate confidentiality and data
processing terms;
Legal requirements — we may disclose your information if required to do so
by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights,
property, or safety of Clover LDT, LLC, our users, or the public; and
Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization,
or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor
entity, subject to the same privacy protections described in this Policy.
8. International Data Transfers
Clover LDT, LLC is based in the United States. If you access the Software or
our services from outside the United States, please be aware that your
personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United
States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your
jurisdiction.
For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, where we transfer personal data to
countries not recognized as providing an adequate level of data protection,
we implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses
(SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or rely on other lawful transfer
mechanisms as permitted by applicable law.
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the
purposes for which it was collected, including for the duration of your
active software license and for a reasonable period thereafter to:
Comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax, accounting, and regulatory
requirements);
Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements; and
Maintain records as required by applicable law.
When personal data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or
anonymized.
10. Data Security
Clover LDT, LLC implements commercially reasonable technical,
administrative, and physical security measures designed to protect your
personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or
destruction. These measures include:
Encryption of data in transit using industry-standard protocols (TLS/HTTPS);
Cryptographically signed license files, with device identifiers stored only
as one-way hashes;
Access controls limiting personal data access to authorized personnel on a
need-to-know basis; and
Regular review of our security practices.
Please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method
of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially
reasonable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its
absolute security. If you believe your license has been compromised, please
contact us immediately at support@blah.audio.
11. Children's Privacy
blah.™ is designed for users who are thirteen (13) years of age or older. We
do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of
thirteen (13). Users between the ages of thirteen (13) and seventeen (17)
must have parental or guardian consent before using the Software, consistent
with the terms of the blah.™ End User License Agreement.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a
child under thirteen (13) without verifiable parental consent, we will take
steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe we may have
collected information from a child under thirteen (13), please contact us at
privacy@blah.audio.
12. Your Privacy Rights

13. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals to websites. Because
there is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, our

desktop application performs no tracking regardless of any browser or system
setting.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
The Software or our website may contain links to third-party websites,
services, or resources that are not operated by Clover LDT, LLC. This
Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We have no
control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies,
or practices of any third-party sites or services. We encourage you to
review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through
or in connection with blah.™.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Clover LDT, LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy
at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
Update the "Effective Date" and version at the top of this Policy;
Notify licensees via email to the address associated with the license;
and/or
Display a notice within the Software or on our website.
Your continued use of blah.™ after any changes become effective constitutes
your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the
updated terms, you must discontinue use of the Software.
